2003 WalkAmerica The Muscle Shoals Parrot Head Club has been a recognized participant in the annual March of Dimes WalkAmerica for the past several years. In 2003 the club contributed $1920.00 and continues to surpass the previous year's contribution in their fund-raising efforts. We're always the envy of the crowd in our tropical attire! We strive to place at the top of our division each year and have a great time doing it. 2003 Stars Fell On Alabama - Orange Beach The MSPHC was recognized (along with another club) for having the most registered club members travel to the 2003 phlocking! PALS honors the Muscle Shoals Parrot Head Club People Against a Littered State (PALS) honored the Muscle Shoals Parrot Head Club with the prestigious Frank Sego Award at the 2002 Governor's Award Banquet in Montgomery. The Colbert County chapter of PALS nominated the club in recognition of their environmental efforts along the Tennessee River. 2001 Stars Fell On Alabama - Mobile Lots of fun and lots of pictures! 1999 Golf Tournament for St. Jude Children's Hospital The Muscle Shoals Parrot Head Club hosted their first golf tournament benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in 1999 with $1500.00 contributed for research to ensure that "no child should die in the dawn of life". The annual tournament has grown tremendously since 1999, and in 2003, The Muscle Shoals Parrot Head Club contributed $8000.00 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
